Milford Police Holding Training Drill at Muir Middle School
Don't be alarmed if you see several police officers at the school this week.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Milford Police Department is hosting training at Muir Middle School for several area police agencies, according to an email from Huron Valley Schools.
Muir is located at 425 George St. in Milford near E. Summit St.
The event is designed to assist police departments in responding to an active shooter.

According to the email, residents can expect to see several police vehicles on site at Muir on those training days.
The building will be closed to students and visitors during that time.
