OCHN releases service delivery feedback survey

OCHN releases service delivery feedback survey

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI (April 18, 2023) – Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) has a long-standing history of providing quality, behavioral health services to adults and children living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and substance use disorders. In order to meet and be responsive to their needs, input from persons served, family members, community partners, legislative leaders, network employees, and contracted service providers is essential.

Your support in this important service planning process by completing the brief survey is greatly appreciated. The responses received will be used to develop OCHN’s annual plan, as well as uphold the organizations mission to β€œinspire hope, empower people, and strengthen communities”.

The organization’s service delivery feedback survey was released in late March and is available for Oakland County residents to offer input by Friday, April 28th, 2023. Information gathered from the survey is being used to identify critical service delivery priorities that are person focused.

OCHN is contracted by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to lead a provider service network that assists approximately 27,000 Oakland County citizens at more than 300 service sites across the county. People who receive public behavioral health services through OCHN's provider network include those who have an intellectual or developmental disability, mental health concerns, or substance use disorder. Most of these individuals have Medicaid insurance coverage.

OCHN's goal is to ensure these individuals are aware of and have access to services and supports that will improve their health and quality of life, as well as ensure their engagement in full community participation. Its mission to β€œinspire hope, empower people, and strengthen communities” reflects an unyielding belief in a "Valuable System for Valued People." Programs and supports provided by OCHN's service network are available at www.oaklandchn.org.
