How's it Growing at the Wyandotte Community Garden?

The harvest season is right around the corner, so Patch wanted to check in with one our favorite community gardens.

The Wyandotte Community Garden is supported by the Wyandotte Beautification Commission "to give residents an opportunity to grow a garden," according to a sign posted in the center of the garden.

Residents, businesses and organizations have planted anything from tomatoes to sunflowers.

There are sunflowers in full bloom scraping the sky at close to eight feet tall.

There's also flowers of every color around every turn of the formerly vacant lot.

Check out the photos to see some of the wonderful growth at the Wyandotte Community Garden located near the corner of Second and Oak Streets.

Call 734-327-7293 or visit the Beautification Commission website www.Wyandotte.net/Beautification.
