New Sandwich Shop Coming to Downtown Wyandotte
The inside of Hooks 'n Ladders is expected to be adorned with firefighter memorabilia loaned to shop owner, Ted Copley, from firefighter enthusiasts from across the country.

There's a new sandwich shop coming to Downtown Wyandotte.
Hook n Ladder Deli, 3203 Biddle Ave., is expected to open May 17, according to owner Ted Copley.
Copley, 37, of Wyandotte, is a Detroit firefighter with a big love for a great sandwich.

"It's hard to find a local place to get a hot sandwich," Copley said.
The buzz is getting louder and louder about Hook n Ladder Deli. The shop's Facebook page had 638 "likes" Thursday night.

Hook n Ladder Deli will serve hot and cold sandwiches and meat, bread and cheese by the pound and loaf.
Copley refereed to the deli as a virtual firefighter museum. He plans to decorate the interior of Hook n Ladder Deli with firefighter memorabilia on loan from enthusiasts across the country.
"I think this will bring people from other cities to eat," Copley said. "I want it to be a destination."
