Wyandotte's Justin Hicks to Tee Off at U.S. Open on Thursday

Wyandotte native Justin Hicks will compete at the U.S. Open this week at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.

The 37-year-old Hicks, who played college golf at the University of Michigan, will compete in the U.S. Open for the fourth time.

, and he eventually finished in a tie for 60th.

Hicks originally was an alternate for this year’s U.S. Open in San Francisco, but he was added to the field on Sunday, according to the Detroit News.

Hicks will tee off in the first round at 5:46 p.m. (2:46 p.m. Pacific time) Thursday.
