Local Hero: Ryan And Kristina Fey Quietly Make Life Better In Edina

EDINA, MN — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

How do you know the local hero?

Sister and brother-in-law.

What does the local hero do?

Plant crops by hand at their hobby farm and donate it to the local food shelf.

Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?

Ryan is a burn surgeon at HCMC and Kristina is a stay at home mom with 3 kids in their teens. They also live with Kristina’s grandma, who is 95 and help her with her daily activities. In their little spare time, they plant and harvest crops at the Fey Family Farm in Litchfield. They donate the crops that they grow to the local food shelf.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the local hero?

Even though they are both incredibly busy, helping others in need is a top priority in their lives.
