MAPLE GROVE, MN — AMC Theatres abruptly closed its Maple Grove location Sunday, with a home remodeling store set to move into the facility, according to reports.
“AMC Arbor Lakes 16 has permanently closed,” according to a post on AMC Theatres’ website, which is directing people to check out its nearest location in Coon Rapids.

Maple Grove officials told CCX Media that AMC Arbor Lakes’ closure was imminent, but the chain’s announcement came earlier than expected.
With the theater now shut down, the facility is set to become a “Floor and Décor” home remodeling store, CCX Media reports.
