Field Trip at Silverwood Park

No permission slips necessary for this field trip!

Mnartists.org and Silverwood Park are teaming up for a day of art, music and creative play on Saturday, Sept. 22, from noon – 9 p.m., at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony.

Learn creative fort construction, build a boat, play with a giant parachute, view site-specific sculpture installations by local artists, take in a gallery reception, or take a guided hike with a naturalist. Try your own creative hand at drawing, collaborative art-making, or observe demonstrations by professional artists.

The day will close with multiple music performances throughout the park.

Stay for a while or spend the entire day playing at the park. Pack a picnic, relax on a blanket, and celebrate the local artistic community in this natural setting. Wine and beer allowed; no kegs or hard alcohol.

This is a free event open to all ages.
