Darryl Sannes, Brooklyn Center, a member of the MN Civil War Task Force, will discuss Brooklyn soldiers and settlers during the Dakota War of 1862, focusing on the Sept. 3, 1862, Battle of Acton in Meeker County, MN.
On view will be a newly restored 1862 drawing of the Battle of Acton, from the Brooklyn Historical Society Collection.
