Happy Halloween Maple Grove!

Get ready to celebrate the spookiest holiday.

Maple Grove kids looking for a trick-or-treat events won’t have to go far. There are a handful of places to head nearby this year.

Cross Winds United Methodist Church (15051 Weaver Lake Road) is hosting a “Trunk or Treat” event at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday. Kids can visit the decorated trunks of vehicles in the church parking lot for treats. There will be dinner and games available for when they’re done trunk-or-treating. Haunted Helga, the haunted youth bus, will be open for third graders and older. A dance and costume contest takes place at 6:45 p.m. Proceeds go toward the 2014 Youth Mission Trip to Denver Urban Ministries.

Wristbands for the evening are $10 each or $40 for a family of four or more.
