Here Are The Major Donors For Rep. Dean Phillips, Tom Weiler: LIST
Money is pouring into the race between Democratic Rep. Dean Phillips and Republican Tom Weiler. Here's where it's coming from.

MAPLE GROVE, MN — Money from corporations and nonprofits has played an increasingly large role in U.S. elections ever since the Supreme Court's 2010 decision in Citizens United.
In Citizens United, the court ruled that the First Amendment prohibits the government from restricting companies from donating money to political campaigns. Money can now pour in from wealthy corporations across the country.
The 2022 House election cycle is no different, as data from OpenSecrets.com — a website dedicated to following the money in politics — shows.

OpenSecrets has data on where the money is coming from in the Third District race between Democratic Rep. Dean Phillips and his Republican challenger, Tom Weiler.
"The organizations themselves did not donate," the website notes. "Rather the money came from the organizations' PACs, their individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals' immediate families. Organization totals include subsidiaries and affiliates."
