Frances Ann Merwin (Schoenbauer)

March 17, 1969 ~ Sept. 12, 2012

Of Maple Grove. Survived by sons, Maxwell and Zachary; husband Steven; parents Shirley and Gilbert; brother William; sisters Christine, Judy, Dolores, Karen, Laura, Donna and Mary.

Born in New Prague and raised on the family dairy farm with her 7 sisters and 1 brother, Frances was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, colleague and educator who left an indelible mark of love on this world. As a beloved Special Education Teacher at Eden Prairie High School, she patiently helped and guided so many students to overcome obstacles and succeed.  She deeply respected and believed in every student she worked with. Her graceful perseverant battle against cancer was awe inspiring. Frances was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all.

Services

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (9100 – 93rd Ave. N, Brooklyn Park) on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. with visitation beginning at  8:30 Aa.m.

Interment

Interment St. Vincent’s Cemetery.
