School Bomb Threat: Student Arrested In Twin Cities North Metro
The school was evacuated and searched by a K9 unit. No explosives were found, police said.

BROOKLYN PARK, MN — A juvenile student is in custody after a bomb threat at Osseo Area Learning Center on Thursday morning, according to Brooklyn Park police.
At about 7:50 a.m., the school received an email claiming a bomb had been planted inside and set to detonate. Police responded to the scene at 7300 Boone Avenue North and, working with school and district administrators, evacuated the building out of caution.
A bomb-sniffing dog was used to search the school, but no explosives were found, police said. No one was injured.

Detectives later identified a juvenile student as the person behind the threat.
The student was arrested on suspicion of making threats of violence and is being held at the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center.
