Sephora To Open At Kohl’s In Maple Grove This Year

MAPLE GROVE, MN — Makeup retailer Sephora will soon open up shop in several Kohl's locations throughout Minnesota, including one in Maple Grove.

The new Sephora shops at Kohl's will span 2,500 square feet at the front of the store, with the area meant to resemble a stand-alone Sephora. The Sephora shop will feature a similar appearance and inventory, according to the company.

Kohl's launched its partnership with Sephora last fall and opened 200 locations in its first round of expansion, including seven in Minnesota. The clothing chain said it’s adding more Sephora shops because the first round was so successful.

Kohl’s is set to open another 400 Sephora stores in 36 states, including 10 in Minnesota.

The new Sephora-Kohl’s collaborations are coming to Maple Grove, Rogers, Blaine, Bloomington, Eagan, Knollwood, Oak Park Heights, Rosedale, St. Cloud and Baxter. Several of those Sephora stores are set to open Wednesday, though an opening date for the Maple Grove location has not yet been announced.

The company said it hopes to have a Sephora in 850 Kohl's stores by 2023.
