Show Off Your Best Pumpkin at the Maple Grove Farmers Market

Talented pumpkin carvers can show off their best design this week at the Maple Grove Farmers Market’s First Ever Great Pumpkin Decorating Contest.

To enter the contest, just drop off a carved or painted pumpkin at the market between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday. Judges will select a best carved pumpkin and best painted pumpkin for the following age groups:

• 1-13,
• 14-20
• and 21 and up

The winners will receive $10 in farmers market tokens and bragging rights.

To add to the fun, KARE 11 meteorologist Jerrid Sebesta is expected to both serve as a judge and do the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. weather forecasts live from the market.
