Twin Cities Woman Killed After Drunk Driver Flees Crash Scene: Police
A 48-year-old man is accused of driving drunk and fleeing the scene after a deadly crash that killed a 74-year-old woman Friday evening.

ANDOVER, MN — A 48-year-old man is accused of driving drunk and fleeing the scene after a deadly crash that killed a 74-year-old woman Friday evening in Andover.
Deputies say Aloysius Kenneth Johnson was behind the wheel of a pickup truck when he struck an SUV driven by Alice Marie Stack at the intersection of 165th Avenue NW and 7th Avenue NW around 5:45 p.m.
Stack, a resident of Andover, was taken to a local hospital and later declared dead.

According to investigators, Johnson ran from the scene but was located and arrested a short time later.
He is now being held in the Anoka County Jail on a felony charge of criminal vehicular homicide — operating a vehicle with negligence while under the influence of alcohol. No bail had been set as of Monday.

The crash remains under investigation by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office, the Minnesota State Patrol, and the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
