Weaver Lake Road Weekend Construction: Sept. 7-10
The eastbound Interstate 94 ramp to Weaver Lake Road in Maple Grove will be closed overnight Friday, Sept. 7

Construction continues on throughout the weekend as crews work to remove and replace pavement along busy roadway.
The city of Maple Grove is in the process of reconstructing the pavement on Weaver Lake Road from West Fish Lake Road to Interstate 94. The roadway is one of the “heaviest traveled,” according to the city.
“While the roadway will be open to both directions of traffic, there will be significant delays especially on Saturday afternoon and evening. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible,” according to the Maple Grove city website.

Here’s a few tips on traveling Weaver Lake Road Sept. 7-10:
- Starting 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, signals will be placed on all red flash and traffic will be moved to the eastbound lanes “where both eastbound and westbound will have one lane on the eastbound side of Weaver Lake Road,” according to the Maple Grove city website.
- The eastbound Interstate 94 ramp to Weaver Lake Road closes overnight Friday, Sept. 7 starting at 11 p.m. and reopens 5 a.m. Saturday. Drivers are advised to use the Maple Grove Parkway/County Road 30 exit or use the Hemlock Lane exit as an alternate.
- The roadway will be back to normal operations before 5 a.m. Monday.
