How did you get into the insurance industry?
I got into the insurance industry 18 years ago because I like helping people and this was a great way to do that.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Making sure clients have the right coverage so that when something happens, they know they will be ok.
What’s something you wish everyone knew about insurance?
It's not as complicated as some people think.
What's something you wish everyone knew about working with a local agent?
A local agent is the best way to have someone in your community working beside you on your insurance. Instead of a call center where you never know who is picking up the phone a local agent knows your story and your history on a more personal level. They also have a vested interest in it as they are a part of the same community.
What factors should someone consider when exploring their insurance options?
If you can find an agent with multiple insurance company options that's a good thing. One company does not fit all. Different insurance companies like different types of risks. You want an agent that can look at multiple carriers and find the right fit for your family.
What would you tell someone who’s on the fence about getting a personalized insurance policy quote?
Insurance is changing rapidly right now. Get a quote to at least be more informed about what else is possible for you with your personal insurance. You may be surprised.
