1. Brooklyn Park police are investigating after a body was found Sunday in Shingle Creek. The Hennepin County's Medical Examiner's and Sheriff's offices responded to the scene Sunday afternoon, but no further details have emerged. (Paid source: Star Tribune)
2. Minneapolis Public Schools is entering its 15th day of the teacher strike, with 10 days of missed classes. The district issued its “last, best and final offer” to teachers Sunday. (MinnPost)

3. Seven more Minnesotans died of COVID-19 Monday, according to the state’s daily virus report. More than 450 new cases were also reported. (BMTN)
4. A trial began Monday in the 2015 murder case of Minneapolis artist Susan Spiller. Demetrius Wynne is charged with killing her when he was 14 years old. (CBS)
