1. A 2 year old was shot early Monday morning while at home in the 1500 block of Lasalle Avenue, police said. The events leading up to the shooting were not reported. He is in critical condition. (Patch)

2. Classes are canceled again as Minneapolis Public Schools teachers enter the second week of their strike. Union leader Greta Callahan told CBS "our sticking point has not been salary," but that’s what the district "wants to make it about." (CBS)
