Twin Cities Apple Picking: Fall 2022 Orchard Guide

MINNEAPOLIS — If you want to take the family out for a day of full fun, but aren't interested in a road trip across the state, then you're in luck: the Twin Cities metro is home to a number of delicious apple orchards.

While fall isn't quite here, at least officially, many orchards have been offering apple picking for several weeks. Most orchards in Minnesota open in late August.

Aamodt’s Apple Farm, Stillwater (Washington County)

• Apple picking hours are:
  • Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Applecrest Orchards, Hugo (Washington County)

• Apple picking hours are:
  • Wednesday through Friday, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Apple Jack Orchards, Delano (Wright County)

• Apple picking hours are:
  • Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Applewood Orchard, Lakeville (Dakota County)

• Apple picking hours are:
  • Tuesday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard, Jordan (Scott County)

• Apple picking hours are:
  • Daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Minnetonka Orchards, Minnetrista (Hennepin County)

• Apple picking hours are:
  • Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Pine Tree Apple Orchard, White Bear Lake (Ramsey County)

• Apple picking hours are:
  • Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5. p.m.
  • Saturday-Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Whistling Well Farm, Hastings (Dakota County)

• Apple picking hours are:
  • Open daily, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Apple picking hours are:
  • Open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily
