• Man Taken Into Custody After Reports Of Body Being Dragged From Apartment: Richfield PD (patch.com) — Richfield residents reported seeing a man drag what appeared to be a body from a Knox Avenue South apartment to a vehicle, prompting a police response early Saturday. Officers pursued the vehicle to M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital, where a 23-year-old woman with a gunshot wound was found and later pronounced dead, and the male driver was taken into custody.
   

• Richfield man accused of targeting women with water balloon attacks (cbsnews.com) — Richfield residents are being warned after police linked at least ten water balloon assaults on women to the same car driving around town. Local women describe being unexpectedly hit while walking or jogging, prompting more victims to come forward and charges including bias‑motivated assault in Hennepin County. Investigators are still watching for a dark four-door sedan with front-end damage.
