Back To School: Woodbury 2021-22 School Calendar

WOODBURY, MN — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Woodbury, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in South Washington County Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Woodbury is Aug. 31-Sept. 1.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Woodbury.

The district's website said on July 6 that there are no plans to require masks, but this may change with the spike of the Delta Variant.

"In regards to masking requirements, we continue to review the latest health guidance and COVID-19 infection rates to determine any adjustments to our fall plans," Pepe Barton, director of communications and community relations said.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

First Day: Aug. 31 for grades K-6, 9 and Sept. 1 for grades 7, 8, 10-12

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-26

Winter Break: Dec. 22-31

Spring Break: March 7-11

Last Day: June 1 for PreK-5, June 2 for grade 12, June 3 for grades 6-11
