College Grads, Scholars from Woodbury

John Tostenson, of Woodbury, recently graduated magna cum laude from Metropolitan State University with a bachelor of science degree in management information systems. He served in the Air Force for 23 years before returning to school.

Oriana Lada, of Woodbury, made the University of Evansville dean’s list for academic achievements during the fall 2012 semester. Lada is majoring in theater.

Also, Lada will spend the spring 2013 semester studying abroad at Harlaxton College, UE's British campus near Grantham, England.

Jerome Hamilton, of Woodbury, a business administration major, made the fall 2012 dean’s list at Tennessee State University.

Benjamin Sampson, of Woodbury, was named to the University of Delaware’s dean’s list for fall 2012.

Sarah Rech, of Woodbury, made the fall 2012 dean’s list at Augustana College.

Colton Simon and Megan Walton, both of Woodbury, made the fall 2012 dean’s list at Rochester Community and Technical College.

Several students from Woodbury graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in December 2012.

Shannon Justine Brady received a bachelor of science in retail merchandising and management and a minor in business administration, human resources management.

Thomas James Yungbauer received a bachelor of science in applied science and a minor in chemistry.

Fue Vang received a bachelor of fine arts in art.

Jacob Andrew Youngblood received a bachelor of science in business administration, bachelor of science in hotel restaurant and tourism.

Ellen Rebecca Fitzgerald, of Woodbury, was named to the dean’s list at Clemson University for the fall 2012 semester. Fitzgerald is majoring in marketing.

Sayan Roy, of Woodbury, made the dean’s list for fall 2012 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Four students from Woodbury made the fall 2012 dean’s list at the University of Minnesota, Morris. They are:
