Kansas City Public Library Launches Second Season Of Writing Workshops

The Kansas City Public Library is launching a second season of it popular online classes for beginning and intermediate-level writers interested in developing their writing skills.The classes, taught by graduate students in the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s MFA Program in Creative Writing, are: Poetry Workshop, Introduction to Fiction Writing, Writing in the Digital Age, and Screenwriting 101.Each is offered online via Zoom. RSVPs are required, using the links below. Class sizes will be limited, and students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

POETRY WORKSHOP

Learn more about poetry forms, write your own poems, and help fellow participants hone their writing. Seeing how others experience and think about your poem helps guide your own revisions.
