- Recent Montana State graduate and star of the Bobcats' rodeo team, Caleb Berquist, is recovering from a serious injury sustained last week. Berquist was riding his side-by-side at his ranch when it crashed and rolled over him. He lost feeling in his legs, and though he's regained some of it, still cannot feel below his knees. A GoFundMe account raised over $60,000 in less than a week to help pay for his surgeries. (KULR-TV)
- Motorists be aware that Hyalite Canyon Recreation Corridor will close for the spring season as of Apr. 1. The road will reopen in mid-May. During spring, melting snow and ice saturate the subgrade too much to support vehicles, according to the USDA. Those visiting the area should be aware of the closure and alert for construction along the route. (Fairfield Sun Times)
- If you're looking to rent, be sure to verify that the listing is legitimate. According to Bozeman Police Detective Jacob Ahmann, rental scams are on the rise in the area. Residents are advised to know when something looks too good to be true and to be aware of weird communication received from listing agents. (KBZK News)
