2. ‘Fa La La' for a Cause: Christmas Caroling for a cause Turns Song Into Support (kbzk.com) — A long-running Bozeman caroling group is gathering in the Middle Creek neighborhood this Sunday, welcoming anyone to join as they sing door to door. Over 12 years, Christmas Caroling for a Cause has grown from a few friends to 80-plus singers and raised more than $70,000 for local nonprofits like HRDC and Haven, directly supporting Bozeman-area services.

3. Bozeman man charged with selling fake Montana driver's licenses (montanarightnow.com) — Federal prosecutors say a Bozeman resident was involved in buying fake IDs from an overseas seller who allegedly ran multimillion-dollar online marketplaces for fraudulent documents. Investigators claim the suspect accepted Bitcoin from a Bozeman customer in May for bogus passports, Social Security cards, and Montana driver’s licenses, part of a broader case led by the FBI’s Billings office and cyber task force partners.

4. The Poll…err Express (montanafreepress.org) — Gallatin County commissioners have appointed 25-year-old Bozeman organizer Katie Fire Thunder to fill the vacant House District 59 seat, previously held by Ed Stafman of the Bozeman area. Fire Thunder, a Montana State grad and co-founder of Bozeman Tenants United, plans to focus on housing affordability and work across party lines while preparing a campaign to keep the seat in 2026.
