1 October Victims To Be Honored At Baker To Vegas Relay Race
Flags will be featured at each leg of this year's 120-mile race, paying tribute to the 58 people killed in the Oct. 1 shooting.

LAS VEGAS, NV - This year's Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay race will pay special tribute to the 58 live lost during the Oct. 1 shooting on the Las Vegas Strip. The 20-leg relay race will feature a tribute flag with photographs and names of each victim. The flags will be featured at each of the legs of the race.
A special tribute will also be paid to Charleston Hartfield, an off-duty Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer who was killed during the shooting.
The race starts in Baker, CA and ends at the Westgate Hotel in Las Vegas and spans 120 miles. This year's race will take place this weekend from Saturday, March 17 to Sunday, March 18.

Twenty-one flags will be unveiled at the Westgate Hotel from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 15 by friends and family members of the victims.
The tribute flags were designed by Side Action Apparel and donated by Los Angeles Police Revolver and Athletic Club and Zappos Inc.
