Accident On Las Vegas Strip Kills Motorcyclists

A fatal collision involving three vehicles on the Las Vegas Strip killed a motorcyclists on Thursday.

LAS VEGAS, NV - A crash involving a motorcycle, limousine, and a semi-truck

killed a man on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip Thursday afternoon.

A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a limousine between Russell Rd. and Sunset Rd. on Las Vegas Blvd. near the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, Metro police announced. The deceased in a 38-year old man driving a 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Metro said he was travelling southbound on Las Vegas Blvd. when a limousine failed to yield the right of way and pulled into traffic. The driver of the motorcycle hit the limousine and the collision sent the driver and the motorcycle into the trailer of a semi-truck.

The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the limousine is a 41-year old male. The driver of the semi-truck is a 53-year old man. Both remained on the scene, Metro said, and there were no signs of impairment.

The accident occurred around 5:15 p.m. Metro said.
