Body Found Inside Burnt Vehicle In Las Vegas

An unidentified victim was discovered inside of an RV that was left burnt behind an empty home in Las Vegas Friday morning.

LAS VEGAS, NV - Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to a burning recreational vehicle near N. Rancho Dr. and Vegas Dr. early Friday morning to discover a body inside. The cause of fire and the identity of the victim are currently being investigated, a press release said.

Multiple reports of smoke coming from the area led firefighters to the RV burning behind a vacant house on Primrose Path at 5:45 a.m. Jan. 26. The fire was extinguished before it spread to the home. The body was discovered inside as firefighters went through the contents of the RV.

The cause of death and cause of fire are currently under investigation by Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, Clark County Fire's investigative unit, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, and Clark County Coroner's Office.
