Brazilian Man Dies After Jumping On The Hood Of A Car
A 21-year old man died after jumping on the hood of a car that then accelerated and threw him to the ground. Metro police are investigating.

LAS VEGAS, NV - Las Vegas Metropolitan Police recorded the first traffic related fatality of 2018 early Wednesday morning.
Police say a 21-year old man from Brazil died after jumping on and falling off the hood of a car near Flamingo Rd. and Koval Ln. at 2:20 a.m. on Jan. 3.
According to a Metro release the man, who has not been identified, jumped on top of a black Mercedes-Benz as the car was turning right onto Flamingo Rd. from Koval Ln. The driver of the vehicle accelerated and the man was thrown from the hood of the car. He was transported to Sunrise Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver left the scene and the incident is being investigated as a hit-and-run, police said.
