  1. The Las Vegas Culinary union plans to picket outside Station Casino's headquarters today. The casino union represents around 60,000 workers at Nevada casinos, and Station Casino is one of the largest casino holders yet to unionize. The casino company owns eight Las Vegas casinos.   2. The City of Las Vegas has installed automated external defibrillators (AEDs) at multiple city parks. Officials encourage the public to use the AEDs during a cardiac incident immediately when waiting for paramedics because it increases the chance of survival. The city plans to purchase and install more devices in more city parks. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
  3. A local Las Vegas egg producer and seller talked about her history of selling eggs and the reasons behind the rising prices in Las Vegas and throughout the United States. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Egg prices rose more than 18 percent between November and December. The price jump is due to new government regulations changing how large egg producers house their chickens. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
