City Approves Group To Manage Las Vegas Community Healing Garden
The city of Las Vegas tabbed Outside Las Vegas, a community organization, with managing the Las Vegas Community Healing Garden.

LAS VEGAS, NV - Las Vegas city council unanimously approved a plan that allows Outside Las Vegas (OLV) to manage the Las Vegas Community Healing Garden, during Wednesday morning's city council meeting.
Outside Las Vegas is an "organizational gateway and community voice dedicated to encouraging residents and visitors to discover, explore and connect to Nevada’s vast and unique landscapes," according to their website. The city will pay OLV $50,000 to maintain the garden for one year.
The healing garden was built in response to the Oct. 1 shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on the Las Vegas Strip that claimed the lives of 58 people. The garden was built with donated materials from around the Las Vegas community.
