Fireworks by Grucci is curating a midnight fireworks to ring in 2022! You can watch the fireworks show on kclv.tv/live or on our Facebook or Twitter.
Firing locations include MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island (TI), The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, Resorts World Las Vegas and The STRAT, which will also feature a larger-than-life pyrotechnic countdown.

More than 11,500 electrical circuits have been choreographed to a custom soundtrack.

NYE Safety
More than 300,000 people are expected on The Strip and in downtown. Public safety departments all around the valley are working together to ensure a safe celebration. There will be 1,200 police officers on The Strip and 200 downtown from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Glass and metal containers, coolers, strollers and any bags larger than 12x12x16 inches are prohibited on The Strip and in downtown; this includes backpacks purses and luggage. Learn more about prohibited items.
A curfew will be in place prohibiting those under 18 without a parent on The Strip and in downtown.
The public is reminded to call 911 and report anything that doesn’t look right or looks suspicious.
Clark County's mask directive is still in effect while indoors.
Las Vegas Fire and Rescue will be working closely with local, state and federal agencies to support and protect those visitors and workers at Fremont Street Experience and all city properties. Fire Chief Jeff Buchanan says, “We have been planning and preparing for months with Las Vegas Metro Police, Clark County Fire Department and many other public and private partners to ensure our community is safe.” Buchanan assures residents and tourists additional resources will be out on the streets and in command positions as the department protects the grand stage Las Vegas provides New Year’s Eve revelers.
Buchanan’s message is echoed by Assistant Chief Robert Straube of the city’s Department of Public Safety (DPS). “DPS will also be working closely with our community partners to maximize visitor safety at the Fremont Street Experience and city of Las Vegas properties.” Straube says the city has implemented appropriate staffing levels by utilizing Deputy City Marshal’s and Corrections Officers to be sure New Year’s Eve is safe and enjoyable for all.
Road Closures
In downtown las Vegas, Fremont Street between Las Vegas Boulevard and Sixth Street will be closed from 5 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, and Saturday, Jan. 1.
Freeway off-ramps to the Las Vegas Strip will begin closing at 6 p.m. Dec. 31. Roads will beginclosing on The Strip at approximately 6:30 p.m. Las Vegas Boulevard from Spring Mountain Road to Mandalay Bay Road will be completely shut down to vehicle traffic by 8 p.m.
