Las Vegas 2018 Helldorado Parade: Apply Now

LAS VEGAS, NV - Applications are now being accepted for the 2018 Helldorado Parade in May, the city of Las Vegas announced on Wednesday. Anyone in the community is welcome to apply free of charge.

The parade will being at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 12 in Downtown Las Vegas. High school musicians and groups are encouraged to apply. Any high school band that participates in the parade will receive $1,000. The Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial is offering a $500 award to the best marching band. A $1,500 award is also being offered to any high school group that submits as float about western heritage of Las Vegas' birthday.

The floats will also be judged by a panel after the parade--which is part of the annual celebration in Las Vegas.
