Heading to a casino in Las Vegas any time soon? Here's your guide to mask mandates.

LAS VEGAS, NV — In the hours and days after Nevada lifted its statewide mask mandate, casinos scrambled to ditch face-covering requirements, with some even raising a virtual glass to the mandate's end.

Aligning with Gov. Steve Sisolak's announcement Thursday, the Nevada Gaming Control Board lifted its mask rule for casinos, with the exception of when local jurisdictions still impose such a requirement.

  • Wynn and Encore Las Vegas - Masks not required. Wynn and Encore Las Vegas casino operations returned to full occupancy. High-touch areas are frequently cleaned, including games and game rails, counters, cages and ATMs. Hand-sanitizer stations and bottles located throughout the casino areas. Chips regularly changed out and cleaned.
  • Sunset Station - Not required.
  • MGM Resorts -"Effective immediately, guests and employees are no longer required to wear masks indoors or outdoors," MGM Resorts CEO & President Bill Hornbuckle told employees in a letter obtained by USA Today.

  • Resorts World Las Vegas - "Vegas is unmasked," the resort tweeted. "The curtain has fallen. The roulette wheel is spinning. The stage is set. There's never been a better time to get lucky in Vegas!"
  • Caesars Palace - Masks not required.
  • El Cortez Hotel & Casino - Masks not required.
  • South Point Hotel and Casino - “Following the direction of Governor Steve Sisolak and the Nevada Gaming Control Board, guests and employees at South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa are no longer required to wear masks inside the property. South Point will still have masks available for guests or employees who choose to wear one. ”
  • Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa -Masks not required.
  • The D Casino & Hotel - Masks not required.
  • The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino - Masks not required
