- Two former Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers were sentenced to 28 to 72 months in prison for child abuse on Tuesday. John and Destini Woodruff were taken into custody in May 2020 for hitting a child multiple times. The pair were still working for the police department at the time of the incident. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- Gotta Catch 'Em All! A Pokémon Go event is on its way to Las Vegas on Feb. 18-19, but it is already sold out. The "Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn - Las Vegas" organizers sold 50,000 tickets and said, "chance to play Pokémon GO with thousands of other Trainers from around the world while catching, trading, and battling with your favorite Pokémon." - Superstar singer Beyoncé announced her long-awaited "Renaissance" tour for her seventh studio album. The 47-stop tour will pass through the Las Vegas Valley on Aug. 26, 2023 at the Allegiant Stadium. The tour will be her first since returning to the stage at an invitation-only event in December. - We love to see a happy ending for our furry friends in animal shelters. Penny, the pup, was found in December suffering from severe mange on the streets of Las Vegas. She was nursed back to health and is enjoying her new family, who initially fostered her and decided to keep her. (News3LV)
