Kihuen Facing More Sexual Misconduct Accusations
Rep. Ruben Kihuen of Nevada's 4th Congressional District is facing a second accuser who says he made inappropriate sexual advances.

LAS VEGAS, NV - He refused to resign after a Buzzfeed article detailed accusations of repeated sexual misconduct during his 2016 campaign for Congress, but after a new article published on Wednesday it's becoming less likely that Rep. Ruben Kihuen finishes his term representing Nevada's 4th Congressional District.
In an article published by The Nevada Independent, a second woman has accused Kihuen of making sexual advances towards her even after she showed no interest or blatantly told him "no." The Independent's story, which includes detailed text-message from Kihuen's phone, has led to increased pressure from fellow Democrats to step down, the publication also reported.
It's the second allegation after a former campaign finance director told Buzzfeed Kihuen sexually harassed her during his 2016 campaign in which he defeated Republican incumbent Cresent Hardy to win one of four Nevada House seats. In the new allegations, a lobbyist says that Kihuen sent her lewd text messages and even groped her during the 2015 legislative session when Kihuen was a state senator.

Among the allegations are that Kihuen sent her text messages, sometimes while working, asking her to sit on his lap. The woman in the article, who remained anonymous, detailed Kihuen's alleged behavior from 2013-2015. Kihuen allegedly put his hand on her thigh at a Carson City bar in 2013 and played with her hands and feet during a business lunch in 2014. Both times, she told the Independent, she brushed it off and moved away from him.
Then in 2015, the article says Kihuen "grabbed her buttocks" as she was leaving his office.
