Las Vegas Fire And Rescue Conducts Mass Casualty Drill

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue conducted a mass casualty incident drill on Tuesday morning.

LAS VEGAS, NV - A mass casualty incident drill was conducted by Las Vegas Fire and Rescue on Tuesday morning. The drill took place in the parking lot of Cashman Field.

The fire department posted a video of the event on their Twitter account.

The drill was concluding up by 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

The drill comes two months after 58 people were killed in a shooting rampage at the Route 91 Harvest Festival on the Las Vegas Strip. On Dec. 31 the Las Vegas Strip will shut down to traffic and open up to an expected number of people that will exceed last year's

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that an unprecedented number of security forces will monitor New Year's festivities in Las Vegas this year.
