Las Vegas Police Find Body Near Sunrise Mountain
An apparent murder was discovered by LVMPD's air unit while searching the area during an unrelated call.
LAS VEGAS, NV - A man was found dead with multiple stab and gunshot wounds near Sunrise Mountain off Lake Mead Blvd. in Las Vegas on Thursday, police said. They believe the man was deceased for at least 24 hours before police found the body.
The body was located at 3:11 p.m. on Thursday by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Air Unit, which was investigating an unrelated call at the time. Homicide detectives responded to the scene but no motives or suspects have been identified yet.
