Child Found Safely After Father Shoots Neighbor And Flees
A man shot his neighbor and fled with his two-year old son Tuesday night after a dispute with the mother of his child, police said.
LAS VEGAS, NV - A man who allegedly shot his neighbor and abducted his two-year old son is on the run and considered armed and dangerous, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
Metro police are currently looking for Amir Abdul-Rahim, 26, and his young son Kuwait Abdul-Rahim, 2. Police say a domestic disturbance was reported around 10 p.m. Tuesday night, between Amir Abdul-Rahim and the mother of Kuwait Abdul-Rahim. At some point during the argument a neighbor tried to intervene and was shot several times by Amir, police said. Amir then fled in a dark colored SUV with Kuwait.
Police are seeking to locate both Amir and Kuwait Abdul-Rahim. Anyone who sees them should avoid approaching and contact 911 immediately.

LVMPD has been contacted for comment and this story will be updated.
UPDATE (11:45 a.m.): Police say Kuwait Abdul-Rahim has been safely located. Amir Abdul-Rahim is still being sought by police.
