Las Vegas Police Recruits Graduating Today

LAS VEGAS, NV - Twenty-five recruits will graduate and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officers on Wednesday. LVMPD announced the ceremony will take place to honor the recent graduates at 11 a.m. inside The Orleans Showroom.

The recruits graduating on Wednesday entered the academy on July 28, 2017. LVMPD has been actively expanding the police force. They're currently hiring and recently graduated 34 recruits in November and 44 recruits in December. The approval of the "More Cops" tax in 2016 allowed for the addition of 300 law enforcement officers to Clark County.
