Las Vegas Shooting: Judge Will Rule Next Week On Search Warrant
Lawyers representing LVMPD met with Las Vegas Judge Elissa Cadish on Friday to explain why search warrant documents should remain sealed.
LAS VEGAS, NV - Judge Elissa Cadish heard arguments from lawyers representing the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department that search warrant documents related to the Oct. 1 shooting should remain sealed in a closed hearing on Friday, but a decision won't come until next week.
Judge Cadish will issue a written ruling next week, deciding if more search warrant documents related to the Las Vegas shooting investigation will be made public. The Friday hearing allowed lawyers representing LVMPD to explain the reasons why unsealing the documents would compromise an ongoing investigation, which they say could lead to charges being brought against an individual.
