Wildfires Force Lionel Richie To Cancel Wednesday Night LV Show
Wildfires will keep the Vegas headliner from performing at Planet Hollywood on Wednesday.
LAS VEGAS, NV - Lionel Richie has more important matters to address today than his scheduled show at Planet Hollywood. Due to wildfires in southern California, Richie will spend Wednesday helping his family evacuate the area and has cancelled his scheduled show tonight.

In a statement, Richie said, "Due to the devastating California Wildfires, and helping family evacuate to a safer place, I unfortunately have to cancel my show tonight. I look forward to returning to the stage this weekend and performing for my fans."
Richie has scheduled shows at Planet Hollywood for Dec. 8, 9, 13, 15, and 16, which he said will all go on as planned.
