  1. The mother of a 12-year-old boy who was hit by a car and killed four years ago has been using her grief to bring joy to others. Suzan Smith has been hosting an annual toy drive in honor of her son's birthday. This year, she was able to donate more than $5,000 in toys to the Sunrise Hospital, and she said she looks forward to seeing the toy drive grow every year. (News3LV)
  2. The pop music band Big Time Rush announced their new "Can't Get Enough Tour" on Monday. The tour includes a stop at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for a concert on Saturday, Aug. 12. Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Friday, Feb. 10. (News3LV)
  3. Officials estimate that Las Vegas' Harry Reid International Airport will likely reach its annual passenger capacity by 2030. The Clark County Department of Aviation is considering a reliever airport to the south of Las Vegas in the Ivanpah Valley to help expand capacity, but the soonest that new airport would be operational would be 2037.
