Man Dies In Altercation With Homeless Man In Las Vegas: LVMPD

LAS VEGAS, NV — A homeless man has been taken into custody after an altercation that resulted in the death of a Las Vegas man early Saturday morning, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said.
The victim was found dead near a homeless encampment close to the corner of Mountain Vista Street and Carol Circle, where he got into an altercation with 33-year-old homeless man Shawn Jackson, police said.
Jackson was taken into custody at the Clark County Detention Center and was booked for open murder, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
