Merryhill Preschool Students Donate $500 Worth of Items to Families

Students at Merryhill Preschool Centennial Hills on Grand Teton Drive in Northwest Las Vegas recently collected items to benefit The Children’s Cabinet, which is an organization that keeps children safe and families together by providing services and resources that address unmet needs. Students worked together to collect more than $500 worth of items requested from families in need of items for their newborn babies.

Merryhill Preschool instills a sense of social responsibility at an early age by implementing opportunities for students to learn about the importance of giving back to their communities and helping others in need. Its signature Links to Learning preschool curriculum emphasizes social-emotional learning as a stepping stone for kindergarten and beyond. Teachers work with children to help recognize and label emotions in themselves and others, while learning how they fit into their community and the larger world.
