New Yorker Visiting Eastside Cannery Hits Half Million Dollar Pot

The third time was the charm for Elizabeth, who returned to New York from Las Vegas $500,000 richer.

LAS VEGAS, NV - Those who believe in superstition would say the third time is the charm. If she didn't think so before she visited Las Vegas, Elizabeth from New York surely believes it now.

While at the Eastside Cannery during her visit to Las Vegas, Elizabeth played enough slots to qualify for the casino's "Rainbow to Riches" gameboard promotion. However, her name wasn't called. At least not at first. But that didn't matter because the first person who was called wasn't present. The same thing for the second person whose name was picked at random - no show.

The third name was hers, and she "successfully selected 10 Pots of Gold," according to a press release. Those ten Pots of Gold were worth $500,000 for the New York resident.
