Pro Bowl Week has officially arrived in the NFL's newest market

LAS VEGAS, NV – The long-awaited anticipation is finally over as Pro Bowl Week has officially arrived in the NFL’s newest market.

Football fans from across the country turned out in the thousands this week to get a glimpse of their favorite players in action on the practice field at the all-new Las Vegas Ballpark in Downtown Summerlin.

The week-long celebration of football included the popular Pro Bowl Skills Showdown, which was broadcast on Thursday evening as well as NFL FLAG Championship games and other community initiatives.

After a one-year delay due to the coronavirus pandemic causing the cancellation of last year’s all-star game and the festivities that come with it, thousands of football fans rejoiced in the desert oasis.

The 2022 Pro Bowl will be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday, February 6, at 3:00 p.m. et and will be televised on ESPN and ESPN Deportes. Tickets are available now on ProBowl.com and will allow fans special benefits on gameday including access to the Pro Bowl Red Carpet and other family friendly activities.

While the first week of February always seems to cause a frenzy amongst football fans and even the most casual sports viewers in Las Vegas, this year’s festivities added another element to the mix. It is a precursor to 2024 when Super Bowl LVIII will arrive in Las Vegas.

It is clear that the NFL has high expectations for the Las Vegas market as it will have served as the host city for practically all of the league’s marquee events including the NFL Draft, which will be held in Sin City in April.

If the buzz around the city is any indication it is that premier football events are here to stay in Las Vegas.
