Raiders' Davante Adams Apologizes For Post-Game Shoving

Davante Adams Tweeted an apology after shoving a man in the aftermath of the Raiders' loss against the Kansas City Chiefs Monday.

LAS VEGAS, NV – Raiders receiver Davante Adams apologized for shoving a person carrying equipment on the field after Monday night’s 30-29 loss against the Kansas City Chiefs.

“Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game,” Adams wrote in a Tweet hours after the game. “Obviously very frustrated at the way the game ended and when he ran infront of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible immediately. Thats not me..MY APOLOGIES man hope you see this.”

According to ESPN, the man was a freelancer working for ESPN's Monday Night Football. The outlet reported that the man filed a report with Kansas City police, who said they will investigate the incident. According to ESPN, the man was treated for injuries that were "preliminarily thought to be non-life threatening."

Adams, who joined the Raiders after an offseason trade with the Green Bay Packers, is facing discipline from the NFL, a source reportedly told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
